As a Fund Banker, you’ll play a pivotal role in advising Emerging Private Equity & Venture Capital firms on innovative banking, cash management, and lending solutions. You’ll collaborate with solutions teams and Private Bankers across local markets, leveraging your expertise in investments, banking, and credit to guide clients on all aspects of their balance sheet and showcase the full capabilities of the Private Bank. In this fast-paced environment, you’ll manage a significant client portfolio and be part of a national coverage team supported by an institutional platform with the resources, specialists, and intellectual capital to help you and your clients succeed.
Job Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse client base by earning trust, understanding their needs, providing tailored advice, and delivering an exceptional client experience.
Reconnect with dormant clients through proactive outreach, marketing follow-up, and CRM insights to introduce the Fund Banking Group and deepen relationships that drive revenue growth.
Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver interdisciplinary expertise and holistic solutions to clients.
Generate referrals and acquire new assets from both your existing client base and internal network.
Partner with Private Bank and cross-LOB colleagues to build a robust referral network for individuals and portfolio companies.
Connect clients to the right partners across the J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. ecosystem to support their long-term goals.
Ensure that your solutions align with clients’ short-, medium-, and long-term objectives.
Uphold the highest standards by strictly adhering to all risk and control policies, regulatory guidelines, and security measures.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, Skills
Three-plus years of experience in Private Banking or Financial Services
Bachelor’s degree required
Series 7, 66 required for the position (unlicensed candidates considered but required to obtain licenses within 90 days of start date)
Proven sales success and strong business acumen
Team-oriented mindset and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
Experience or demonstrated understanding of investments, credit, and banking concepts
