The Associate Tax Director supports the firm's leadership by managing day-to-day operations and serving as the primary contact for existing and new clients. They are responsible for reviewing various tax returns, overseeing consulting efforts, and leading staff training and performance.
Candidates need 8-15 years of progressive tax experience and a required certification such as CPA, JD, LLM, or EA. A bachelor's degree is required, while a master's degree is preferred, along with a proven track record of managing staff and client relationships.

Our Associate Directors are a key part of Platform’s management team. The role requires a strong sense of entrepreneurship and strategy, while managing the day-to-day activities of the firm. We rely heavily on our team of Directors to develop and execute the firm's vision in each of their respective offices.
This role is supporting our office in Costa Mesa, CA with flexibility for a hybrid schedule
Platform Accounting Group is a rapidly growing professional services firm providing tax, accounting, assurance, IT consulting, and wealth management services to small and medium sized businesses and their owners. The expected salary range for this role is $130,000 - $215,000 per year, which represents a good faith and reasonable estimate. Compensation decisions depend on numerous factors including bona fide qualifications and the facts and circumstances of each case at the time of hiring. Relevant qualifications include, but are not limited to employee education, training, skillset, credentials/certifications, relevant work experience, geographic work location (including if the employee will be hybrid or fully in-office), the scope and responsibilities of the role, internal level and peer equity, and market considerations.
