The Account Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and retention by acquiring new customers and expanding distribution with existing ones. They manage the entire business cycle from strategic planning and presentations to financial reconciliation and forecasting.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field and a valid driver's license. Strong experience in selling, relationship building, and proficiency with MS Office and data systems are required.
Summary: Primary responsibility is sales generation, working with internal and external teams to establish goals and achieve them. Emphasis placed on both growth and retention, acquiring new customers and building incremental distribution and promotional activity with existing ones, while ensuring that the accumulated base of business continues its development. There is high emphasis on working as part of an integrated, collaborative, effective team with internal and external constituencies, but the CPG Account Manager has ultimate responsibility for the entire business cycle, from sales planning through financial reconciliation, including commission collection.
