Manage the division's land acquisitions program by negotiating purchases and maintaining relationships with land sellers and brokers. Responsible for financial analysis, due diligence, and the implementation of business plan strategies to meet land acquisition needs.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate, or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in land acquisition. Must possess strong analytical skills, a valid driver's license, and the physical ability to visit construction sites.

This position reports directly to the VP of Land Acquisitions. The position is responsible for managing the division’s land acquisitions program and for promoting positive/effective relationships with land sellers and the brokerage community.
Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job. Requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds. Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
