Lead the strategic and operational advancement of laboratory technology infrastructure, focusing on bioinformatics pipelines, LIMS, and data systems. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field with strong software engineering and project management skills. Experience in CLIA/CAP-regulated environments and production-level genomic pipelines in both on-prem and cloud environments is essential.
JOB SUMMARY
The Head of Lab Technology Platforms will support the strategic and operational advancement of Baylor Genetics’ laboratory technology infrastructure. This role will focus on optimizing bioinformatics pipelines, data systems and LIMS, and facilitating QA, QM activities to ensure scalable, efficient, and compliant genomic computational operations. The Head will collaborate cross-functionally to implement technology solutions that enhance throughput, reduce turnaround times, and support innovation in clinical diagnostics.
