The temporary staff will support the DIANA Executive in accelerating deep tech and dual-use solutions for transatlantic defence and security challenges. Responsibilities vary based on the specific assignment and functional area, ranging from administrative support to project management and technical operations.

Applicants should have professional experience in fields such as project management, HR, finance, legal, or IT, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Full job description
The Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) is NATO’s newest body. From across the Alliance, DIANA will bring together innovators and operational end users to foster a transatlantic ecosystem supporting dual-use ground-breaking innovation in deep technologies.
DIANA is an independent NATO body comprised of an Allied Board of Directors and an executive management team - the DIANA Executive (DX). Operating out of regional offices in Europe and in North America, the DX will conduct DIANA’s mission: accelerating deep tech, dual-use solutions to critical transatlantic challenges in defence and security. The DX will use Challenge Programmes in line with a published Strategic Direction, as the primary vehicle to accomplish this mission. DIANA is a dynamic, agile and hybrid workplace, which strives for innovation, diversity, and excellence. In order to achieve these aims, DIANA is committed to providing our people with an environment that is positive, inclusive, and collaborative.
DIANA is looking for applicants to fill temporary positions that arise occasionally within the DIANA Executive in London, UK; DIANA Regional Hub in Tallinn, Estonia or DIANA Regional Office for North America, in Halifax, Canada.
Are you a national of a NATO member state with expertise in areas such as innovation, project management, contracting and procurement, human resources, project management, IT, finance, legal affairs, secretarial and administrative support or similar fields?
If so, this could be an excellent opportunity for you!
In view of the nature and of the urgency of the temporary positions we are looking to fill, it is important for candidates to be available for temporary employment on short notice. In practice, this implies either being in possession of valid NATO security clearance at the time of application or having been in possession of such a clearance with the possibility to reactivate it swiftly. We therefore only encourage applications for temporary positions if you are already, or have previously been, in possession of a valid NATO security clearance.

Administrative Support;
Human Resources;
Policy Development & Strategic Engagement;

Jump in and deliver great work together
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Adaptability, accountability and initiative
A commitment to teamwork and organisational excellence
Professional integrity and attention to detail

3. RECRUITMENT PROCESS
When submitting your application, you are not applying for a particular assignment. You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of your application.
In the event a request for a temporary assignment arises that fits your profile, you may be contacted for an (online) interview with the hiring manager to assess your motivation, skills and competencies.
It is a condition of employment that before a temporary staff member can be appointed, the Organization must have received a security clearance certificate (minimum NATO Secret) from the government of the country or countries of which they are national.
Important: Inclusion in the Temporary Talent Pool is for consideration purposes only and does not constitute a guarantee of employment.
Please attach an updated CVand relevant certifications to your application.

For staff eligible under NATO rules, there is also a dependent child allowance and coverage for dependent children for medical benefits.
