The Director of Quality Assurance ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while leading recertification and auditing processes with CARF and OhioMHAS. They also serve as the Client Rights and HIPAA Privacy Officer and manage the electronic health records system.
A Bachelor's degree in human services or behavioral healthcare is required, along with two years of experience in quality assurance and project management. Prior experience in healthcare administration and supervisory roles is preferred.
Candidate will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local rules and regulations. Lead successful recertification, licensing, accreditation and auditing with CARF and OhioMHAS. Will review systems, evaluates quality, ensures compliance with contracts, standards, and certifications. Serves as Client Rights Officer and HIPAA Privacy Officer. Direct program evaluation activities including evaluation of client satisfaction and service outcomes. Has lead responsibility for coordination and submission of funding and licensure applications and related reports. Manage electronic health records system and administration.
Knowledge and skills at a level normally acquired through the completion of Bachelor’s degree in human services or behavioral healthcare field. Two years experience required in quality assurance, project management, and planning in a healthcare, behavioral healthcare, or human service agency. Three years’ experience in the direct provision, administration, or management in healthcare, behavioral healthcare preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred.

We strive every day to bring hope, innovation and compassion to people struggling with mental illnesses and addiction disorders. We operate from three campuses in Columbus, including our main treatment center and detoxification center on Alum Creek, our women’s residence and our Addiction Stabilization hospital and gambling treatment offices on South High Street. We also serve patients in Union, Delaware, Marion, Morrow and Crawford Counties through five regional clinics. We provide comprehensive services for patients who at all stages of recovery, including in-patient and out-patient care, medically assisted treatment as well as cognitive behavioral and other proven therapies, individual and group counseling. We work closely with 12-step and other peer-to-peer recovery groups as they can be critical to long-term success for many patients.
