The Infection Preventionist is responsible for planning, implementing, and directing the facility's Infection Control Program. This includes monitoring infected residents, educating staff on antibiotic stewardship, and ensuring compliance with state and federal health guidelines.
Candidates must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with specialized training in infection prevention and control. Knowledge of Long Term Care laws and regulations is required.
