We're transforming how enterprises build software, turning enterprise requirements into enterprise grade code with an agentic software development platform that can autonomously execute 80% of the quantum of software development work. We're backed by multiple tier 1 investors, and have proven success as founders of previous start-ups.

About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Member of Technical Staff to serve as a key engineering leader driving Blitzy's technical strategy and execution. You'll partner directly with our CTO to scale our engineering organization, and ensure we're building an autonomous software development platform that performs at the highest levels of quality, reliability, and speed. This role sits at the intersection of technical leadership, team building, and hands-on execution—translating our product vision into a scalable, high-performing engineering organization.
You'll partner with the CTO to define engineering strategy and execution across multiple areas, build and lead high-performing engineering teams, and make critical decisions that shape the platform's future. This is a role for a leader who can scale teams and systems, who can operate with both strategic vision and technical depth, and who thrives in the fast pace of a hypergrowth startup.
This role is ideal for someone with a track record of leading engineering organizations at high-growth technology companies, who combines strong technical judgment with the leadership skills to build and retain top engineering talent.
Responsibilities
Set and drive the technical roadmap in partnership with the CTO
Own execution across multiple engineering teams, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery
Execute key architecture and technology decisions that scale with the business as defined by the CTO
Balance short-term delivery pressure with long-term platform investment
Recruit, hire, and retain top engineering talent across all levels
Build and develop a strong bench of engineering managers and senior technical leaders
Establish clear career ladders, performance frameworks, and growth paths
Foster an engineering culture rooted in ownership, craftsmanship, and speed
Implement and continuously improve engineering processes: agile/sprint planning, code review, CI/CD, testing, and incident management
Own platform reliability, security, and performance at scale
Establish on-call rotations and incident response practices that minimize downtime
Drive metrics and reporting that give leadership visibility into engineering velocity and health
Stand up new engineering functions, teams, or processes where gaps exist
Solve the hardest, most ambiguous technical and organizational problems facing the company
Qualifications
8+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in engineering leadership roles; MBA or equivalent business acumen is a plus
Proven track record of building and scaling engineering teams at high-growth technology companies
Deep technical expertise across modern software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure
Experience managing engineering managers and building leadership benches
Strong track record of shipping complex software products on predictable timelines
Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to executives and Boards
Demonstrated ability to balance technical depth with strategic, business-level thinking
Experience at an AI/ML or developer tools company
Background in autonomous systems, agentic AI, or large-scale code generation platforms
Experience scaling engineering orgs through hypergrowth (Series A to Series C+)
Track record of building engineering culture that attracts and retains top talent
Hands-on technical credibility-able to dive into code and architecture when needed
Experience with enterprise-grade security, compliance, and reliability requirements
MBA or equivalent business acumen alongside deep technical expertise

Meet Blitzy, the only autonomous code generation platform with infinite code context, purpose built for large, complex enterprise-scale codebases.
While other AI coding tools provide snippets of code and struggle with context, Blitzy ingests millions of lines of code and orchestrates thousands of agents that reason for hours to map every line-level dependency.
With a complete contextual understanding of your codebase, Blitzy is ready to be deployed at the beginning of every sprint, creating a bespoke agent plan, then autonomously generating enterprise-grade, premium quality code, grounded in a deep understanding of your existing codebase, services, and standards.
Blitzy’s orchestration layer of cooperative agents thinks for hours to days, autonomously planning, building, improving, and validating code. It executes spec and test driven development, done at the speed of compute.
The platform completes more than 80% of the work autonomously, typically weeks to months of work, while providing a clear action plan for the remaining human development.
Used for both large scale feature additions and modernization work, Blitzy is the secret weapon for Fortune 500 companies globally, unlocking 5x engineering velocity and delivering months of engineering work in a matter of days.
Blitzy was co-founded by Brian Elliott, a serial entrepreneur, and Sid Pardeshi, an ex-NVIDIA software architect with 27 Generative AI patents to his name.
