TechOp Solutions International is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Junior FOIA Analyst to join our on-site team. In this role, you will assist in the processing and management of Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses to support our government clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage FOIA and Privacy Act requests while ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
Conduct document reviews, identify responsive records, and perform redactions as necessary.
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and correspondence related to FOIA requests.
Utilize FOIA tracking systems to log and track request status.
Collaborate with internal teams and government agencies to support FOIA-related activities.
Ensure data accuracy and assist with backlog reduction efforts.
High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
At least 6 months of experience with FOIA processing or 2 years similar administrative work.
Knowledge of FOIA and Privacy Act regulations and procedures.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with FOIA tracking software.
Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment.
U.S. Citizenship required due to government contract obligations.
Must be able to obtain and maintain any required security clearances.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TechOp, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $25.00 - 28.00 per hour.
