Senior Adviser, Policy & Integrity – VPS5 – Ongoing (Flexible – full time / part time)
What you’ll do The Senior Adviser, Policy & Integrity, role contributes to a range of the Commission's key strategic policy areas and operational integrity functions. This role has a particular focus on advice about key integrity instruments such as the codes of conduct and the employment standards as well as oversight of the Commission's reviews of actions and lobbyist functions.
We’re looking for a strategic and adaptable policy professional with strong stakeholder management and communication skills. You’ll bring sound policy development and critical thinking capabilities, with the ability to turn complex issues into clear, evidence-based advice and practical solutions. You’ll be comfortable managing projects, responding to changing priorities and working collaboratively across teams to deliver meaningful outcomes.
The successful candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification in public policy, public administration, law or a related discipline, and/or significant public policy experience in a government context. Experience interpreting and applying legislation, public and administrative law, employment law, or working in an integrity-focused policy environment will be highly regarded.
