The Host is responsible for managing reservations via Open Table, seating guests efficiently, and handling incoming phone calls. They also maintain the cleanliness of the host and bathroom areas while assisting management with guest relations.
Candidates should ideally have one year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant and be at least 16 years old. Proficiency in English and familiarity with POS systems and reservation software are required.
The Host position is responsible for providing organizational and operational support to the management staff for the efficient operations of the Restaurant. These duties include (1) overseeing Open Table reservations, (2) seating the dining room in an efficient manner, (3) training new employees hired as hosts, (4) answering all incoming phone calls and checking voicemails, (5) handling inquiries for private events, and (6) keeping the host and bathroom areas clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Education
High School Diploma or GED equivalent optional
Experience
Minimum of one years’ experience in a fast-paced restaurant/bar preferred
Must be at least 16 years old to meet minimum age requirement of the State of Tennessee to work evening hours. Employees younger than 18 are not allowed to serve alcohol and can only work three hours per day and until 10 PM on school nights, which are generally Sunday through Thursday. Employees under the age of 18 are not allowed behind the bar.
ServSafe Certification
ABC Server Permit preferred
CPR certification and/or First Aid training preferred
GROOMING
All employees must wear the proper uniform and maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Company’s grooming standards.

COMPENSATION: $12.00 - $15.00 PER HOUR PLUS TIPS
