The Kitchen Steward is responsible for the deep cleaning of all kitchen facilities, including equipment, floors, and ventilation systems. They must maintain a sanitary environment while following departmental policies and supervisory directions.
The position requires the ability to perform physical cleaning tasks in a high-volume environment. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to meet the operational needs of the kitchen.
The Kitchen Stewards primary responsibilities include the functions of deep cleaning all kitchens on JRCR property. Kitchen Stewards will complete all daily work assigned by following the direction of their supervisory team and understanding and following the departmental policies and procedures.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Any combination of education and experience that could likely provide the required knowledge and skills are qualifying.
Pay range: $18.00 - $23.40 per hour
*Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
This is not a smoke free workplace. Although we employ air filtration systems, cigarette smoke is in the work environment.
