The Opening Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the store is fully prepared for operations, including managing product quality, cleanliness, and staff positioning. They oversee shift profitability, handle cash and security procedures, and supervise Cast Members to maintain company standards.
Candidates must have at least six months of supervisory experience, preferably in food service, or be a validated CEC Team 2 Trainer. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with the ability to work at least 35 hours per week including weekends.

Exempt: Commission potential from $0.50 to $10.00 for each Membership you sell, and from $0.15 to $3.00 for each Fun Pass you sell! Paid out bi-weekly (unless state law requires otherwise).
Non-Exempt: Commission potential from $2.00 to $8.00 for each Membership you sell, and from $0.60 to $2.40 for each Fun Pass you sell! Paid out bi-weekly (unless state law requires otherwise).
This position is known internally as an Opening Coordinator. You’re the show before the show. Before kids and families experience the magic of Chuck E. Cheese you help make sure the games, the food, the prizes, the fun, the amazing…basically everything is ready to go. It’s a huge responsibility and as you might imagine, it’s also a huge opportunity.
