Assume un rôle de supervision senior au sein des centres logistiques du plasma. Les responsabilités incluent la réception, la manutention, la vérification, l’entreposage, la gestion des stocks et la distribution de tout le plasma sanguin humain afin d’assurer le plus haut niveau de conformité. Fournit également un soutien à la direction du département sur les questions liées à la préparation du budget et à la planification des ressources.
Principales responsabilités
Superviser la réception, la manutention, la vérification, l’entreposage et la distribution du plasma afin d’assurer la conformité, la sécurité et le respect des procédures telles que définies par les procédures opérationnelles normalisées (SOP), les BPF (cGMP) et les normes OSHA.
S’assurer que chaque expédition de plasma, unité de production et lot respecte toutes les exigences applicables en matière de qualité, entreposage et production, et que chaque lot de plasma est livré en temps opportun aux clients appropriés.
Veiller à ce que chaque unité individuelle de plasma jugée non conforme pour un traitement ultérieur soit retirée, inventoriée et traitée conformément aux procédures documentées.
Participer au recrutement, à l’embauche, à la formation et superviser directement les employés du groupe des opérations plasma. Assurer le suivi du rendement, des relations de travail et des normes de qualité afin de maintenir l’efficacité de l’équipe.
Élaborer et maintenir les SOP du département conformément aux exigences des organismes réglementaires et de l’entreprise. S’assurer que les procédures reflètent fidèlement les processus actuellement en place.
Coordonner et superviser toutes les transactions d’inventaire liées au stockage et au déplacement du plasma brut. Maintenir des niveaux d’exactitude des stocks conformes aux objectifs établis.
Collaborer avec de nombreux clients internes et externes, notamment la production, les transporteurs, les opérations qualité et divers autres groupes, sur différents enjeux.
Travailler étroitement avec le groupe des opérations qualité pour évaluer le plasma entrant afin de déterminer s’il est acceptable, non conforme ou présentant des écarts.
Soutenir la direction du département dans la préparation du budget annuel et le suivi mensuel des dépenses par rapport aux postes budgétés.
Aider la direction à s’assurer que les ressources appropriées (personnel, équipement et fournitures) sont budgétées et allouées pour répondre aux exigences de traitement.
Le poste peut également inclure les responsabilités suivantes :
Développer et prioriser les besoins de formation et déterminer les exigences afin d’assurer la mise en place adéquate de formations techniques, réglementaires, de sécurité et/ou relatives aux BPF (cGMP).
Piloter le processus d’identification des lacunes en formation au sein du centre logistique du plasma (PLC).
Gérer les matrices de formation du PLC.
Coordonner la formation du département en mobilisant les ressources appropriées, en planifiant et en complétant la documentation requise.
Mettre en place un processus d’amélioration continue pour l’ensemble du matériel de formation afin qu’il demeure à jour avec les exigences réglementaires et les SOP révisées.
Soutenir la direction afin de garantir que les ressources nécessaires (personnel, équipement et fournitures) sont adéquatement planifiées et allouées.
Qualifications requises
Diplôme d’études secondaires minimum requis. Un baccalauréat en sciences, en administration des affaires, en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe constitue un atout.
Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en logistique, entreposage, planification des stocks de matériel ou distribution (de préférence dans le domaine du plasma brut).
Bonne connaissance des procédés de fabrication liés au plasma brut, des contrôles d’inventaire ainsi que des BPF (cGMP) et autres exigences réglementaires.
Doit démontrer des compétences en leadership et en prise de décision autonome, posséder d’excellentes aptitudes en communication (écrite et verbale) et faire preuve d’un grand sens de l’urgence. La capacité à s’adapter à des priorités changeantes est essentielle.
Bilinguisme : français et anglais, à l’oral et à l’écrit.

Position Summary
Provides senior supervisory role in the Plasma Logistics Centers. Responsibilities include receipt, handling, verification, storage, inventory management, and distribution for all human blood plasma to ensure the highest level of compliance. Provides assistance to departmental management on issues relating to budget preparation and resource planning.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise the receipt, handling, verification, storage, and distribution of plasma to ensure compliance, safety, and conformance to procedures as specified by Standard Operating Procedures, cGMP's, and OSHA standards.
Assure that each plasma shipment, production unit, and lot meets all applicable quality, storage, and production requirements and ensure that each plasma lot is delivered in a timely manner to appropriate customers.
Assure that each individual unit of plasma that is deemed unacceptable for further processing is individually removed, accounted for, and ultimately dispositioned according to documented procedures.
Interview, hire, train, and directly supervise non-exempt employees in the Plasma Operations group. Monitor performance, employee relations, and quality standards to ensure effective work team performance is maintained.
Develop and maintain departmental SOPs in accordance with regulatory agency and company requirements. Ensure procedures accurately reflect the processes that are currently being performed.
Coordinate and provide oversight to all inventory transactions relating to the storage and movement of raw plasma. Maintain inventory accuracy levels at agreed upon targets.
Partner with a wide variety of internal and external customers including manufacturing, freight carriers, quality operations, and numerous other groups on a variety of issues
Work closely with Quality Operations group to evaluate incoming plasma to determine if it is acceptable, discrepant, or non-conforming
Provide assistance to departmental management on issues relating to annual budget preparation and monthly monitoring of departmental expenses as compared to budgeted line items.
Provide assistance to departmental management to ensure the proper resources (i.e. personnel, equipment, and supplies) are budgeted and allocated to meet all processing requirements.
Position may also be required to perform the following:
Develop/prioritize training needs and determine requirements to ensure appropriate technical, compliance, safety, and/or current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) training is administered.
Drive the process of identification of training deficiencies within the Plasma Logistics Center (PLC).
Manage training matrices for the PLC.
Coordinate departmental training utilizing appropriate resources, scheduling and completing paperwork.
Establish continuous improvement process on all training materials to remain current with all updates to applicable regulatory requirements and revised SOP requirements.
Provide assistance to departmental management to ensure the proper resources (i.e. personnel, equipment, and supplies) are budgeted and allocated to meet all processing requirements.
Required qualifications
Position requires a minimum of a high school education. A bachelor’s degree in one of the sciences, business administration, engineering, or some other related field is a bonus.
A minimum of 5 years experience in logistics, warehousing, materials inventory planning, or distribution (preferably relating to raw plasma) is required for this level.
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes related to raw plasma, inventory controls, and strong knowledge of cGMP's and other regulatory requirements.
Must demonstrate leadership and independent decision-making capabilities, have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and possess a high level of urgency. The ability to adapt to changing priorities is essential.
