How you'll make an impact in this role
This position resides under The Resource Group, an end-to-end supply chain partner to healthcare organizations across the United States, wholly-owned by Ascension. At The Resource Group, we build strong relationships with provider teams, working alongside them to improve supply chain operations and lower non-payroll expenses, all in support of delivering quality patient care. Responsibilities for this role can be found below:
Direct the enterprise-level ordering, tracking, and management of local inventory to guarantee the continuity of clinical care through the seamless delivery and stocking of supplies at healthcare facilities.
Provide rigorous management of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and departmental workflows to ensure all distribution activities are executed accurately, safely, and in a timely manner.
Exercise high-level accountability for departmental budgets, resource utilization, and work allocation to optimize financial performance and ensure the efficient use of organizational capital.
Lead the analysis of KPIs and supply data to proactively identify operational risks and implement strategic solutions for complex distribution challenges.
Oversee the integrity of supply and service contracts while ensuring all departmental activities maintain strict adherence to regulatory compliance and vendor access policies.
Optimize team performance through strategic day-to-day management of associates including hiring, training and onboarding, professional development, and providing coaching and feedback as needed.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Education:
High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
What additional requirements you'll need
A Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred)• 4 years of professional experience (project management, people management, and/or operations)
