The Audiologist diagnoses and treats hearing disorders while providing habilitation and rehabilitation services such as hearing aid programming. Additionally, the role supports otolaryngology physicians and assists in developing marketing strategies to grow the audiology practice.
Candidates must hold an Au.D. or Master's Degree in Audiology and a valid state license, with CPR certification required. A Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC-A) is necessary for those supervising student externs.
The primary purpose of the Audiologist is to diagnose and treat patients with a variety of ear and hearing issues and disorders, function as an independent professional and service provider who supports the internal otolaryngology physicians, as well as external referring doctors and sources. They also determine the type and degree of hearing impairment and implement habilitation and rehabilitation services. Additionally, this role will assist the marketing and administrative team in the development of marketing strategies and initiatives to promote growth of the audiology practice. This role will report to the Lead Audiologist. This role will primarily be at the St. Mary's location two days a week and at ENT Specialists in Clarendon Hills three days a week.

This position has no supervisory responsibility.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Audiologist license in good standing and in applicable state required. CPR certification required. A valid driver's license is preferred.
Must have current licensure from the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation, and possess a Certificate of Clinical Competency in Audiology (if Master's prepared) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, for the purpose of student supervision.
