The SUD Therapist conducts comprehensive assessments and develops individualized treatment plans for clients with substance use and co-occurring disorders. They facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery.
Candidates must be licensed to practice in their state and pass a background check, with NPI and Medicaid provider numbers preferred. A high school diploma is required, though degrees in counseling, social work, or psychology and specialized addiction certifications are preferred.
