Support surgeons and nurses in the operating room by preparing sterile instruments and maintaining a safe environment. Responsibilities include setting up sterile fields, passing instruments, and performing necessary counts of tools and sponges.
Requires completion of an accredited surgical tech program and a high school diploma, with NBSTA certification required within one year. CPR certification is necessary, and previous OB experience is desired.

Position Summary:
As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a key role in the operating room, supporting surgeons and nurses in delivering exceptional care. You’ll prepare sterile instruments, maintain a safe environment, and ensure everything is ready for successful procedures.
Set up and maintain sterile fields for surgery
Pass instruments, anticipate surgeon needs, and handle specimens
Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts
Clean OR post-procedure and prepare tools for sterilization
Completion of accredited surgical tech training program.
National Board of Surgical Technology (NBSTA) Certification must be obtained within 1 year of completion of program.
High School Diploma
CPR certification or able to obtain within 60 days
Experience: Minimum of 6 months as a nursing assistant and surgical tech with previous OB experience desired
