Job Summary: | The Clinic Community Liaison will be responsible for coordinating multiple research and family-support initiatives within a 20-hour work week, including overseeing the DSResearch inbox, responding to inquiries, and facilitating communication between families, clinicians, and research professionals. Duties include conducting prescreens and associated planning and follow-up activities, supporting related projects through outreach and relationship management, and providing guidance to families regarding medical, educational, and professional resources while documenting findings and outcomes. Additional responsibilities include introducing families to the physicians throughout the U.S. and globally, participating in meetings, and preparing or reviewing written documents related to clinical trial activities and family engagement efforts. Being an advocate of the ‘family voice’ is essential.
