Oversee daily operations of the Good Agricultural Practices and Good Handling Practices Food Safety Audit Verification program. Perform food safety audits across North Carolina as a Quality Systems Auditor to support the fruit, vegetable, and peanut industries.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and three years of related work experience, including two years of commodity grading and two years of supervising/training. Must possess a valid driver's license, normal color vision, and the ability to obtain USDA licensure.

Recruitment Range: $35,596 - $55,000
Ability to maintain effective working relationships with plant management, producers, shippers, receivers, co-workers, and others.
Ability to work independently, analytically make sound decisions, use good judgement, and close attention to details.
Ability to interpret and apply complex Federal guidelines and regulations.
Must have 2 or more years of experience supervising and training.
Knowledge of USDA’s GAP/GHP, Harmonized Food Safety procedures & auditing experience.
