The Meat & Seafood Lead supports the department manager in daily operations, including team coaching, inventory management, and merchandising. They ensure high standards of guest service and step in as acting manager when necessary to maintain store productivity.
Candidates must have at least one year of progressive management experience in retail or a related field and be at least 21 years old. Proficiency in basic office software and the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting up to 50 pounds are required.

Do you have a passion for food? Are you committed to delivering an excellent experience for guests? As a Meat & Seafood Department Lead, you’ll help bring our mission to life by supporting the Meat & Seafood Department Manager in making everyday eating extraordinary. You’ll assist in leading your team with care and purpose, ensuring every guest feels welcome, and every department looks its best. You’ll work side by side with your team and manager, teaching and coaching them to grow while celebrating their successes. You’ll keep things running smoothly, solve problems quickly, and step in as acting manager when needed. This role reports to the Department Manager and embodies a culture of leadership, hospitality, excellence, and teamwork. Previous meat-cutting experience is preferred in this role, including the use of knives, grinders, and meat saws.
The pay range for this position is $22.60 - $26.07 per hour.
This position requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays.
