Beverage & Bar Lead
We are looking for a sharp, driven, hospitality-obsessed pro to step in as our Beverage & Bar Lead position. This is a leader in the game, every shift ...eyes for and on the bar ...on everything liquid and across the dining room!
We’re building a leadership team made up of high-level operators....people who own their zone, know what it means to really drive the guest experience, and develop the team in real time. Working shoulder to shoulder with the GM and Chef, the Beverage & Bar Lead owns the bar execution, energy, standards, and the evolution of the beverage program itself. This is a DREAM ROLE FOR A BEVERAGE MINDED OPERATOR!
This is really for someone who wants to run a bar, build a program, and grow into real leadership.
If you’re just looking to clock in and crank drinks, this isn’t it. If you want to own something, build something, and level up fast—LET'S DO THIS !!!!
WHAT THIS ROLE IS BUILT TO DO
You are essentially "the" heartbeat of the bar.......You control flow. You protect standards. You set the tone. You make sure every drink hits, every ticket moves, and every guest feels it.
You’re not just working the bar.....you’re RUNNING IT!
You lead the team in real time. You coach constantly. You catch problems early and fix them fast. You hold the line on quality, speed, and hospitality .....no excuses this is the REAL DEAL!
And beyond the shift, you are in it:
Building cocktails for service
Rolling out new beverage programs and taking part in the development of "all things liquid " for your location
Owning inventory, ordering, and receiving
Training new bartenders and leveling up the current team
This is truly where craft meets control..... Were talking about owning the bar all the while building the skill set to run a restaurant. YOU READY??????
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Bar Leadership & Execution
Run bar operations every shift—speed, quality, communication, all of it ..no really,...ALL OF IT!
Control ticket flow, drink timing, and bartender coordination in real time
Hold the standard on every drink that leaves the bar—no shortcuts ...MAKE IT NICE OR MAKE IT TWICE!!!!
Stay locked in with the floor and kitchen to keep service tight and proactive
Step in and handle guest issues immediately, with confidence and presence
Beverage Program Ownership
Be directly involved in developing, testing, and rolling out cocktails and beverage menus
Help drive new program launches—clear, organized, and dialed using the BRF Critical Path Process
Protect recipe integrity, specs, and presentation across all shifts
Bring ideas, push creativity, and help evolve the program ...FYI,...this is not a “follow the book” role
Education & Training
Own bartender training and development—new hires and current team
Lead beverage education that actually sticks—product, technique, and guest interaction
Coach in real time—every shift is live reps ...gotta think that way .... the curtain comes up everyday ...are you show ready?
Build a team that knows what they’re pouring and how to articulate to the guest!
Operational Ownership
Be actively involved in inventory, ordering, and receiving of all beverage product
Keep the bar clean, stocked, prepped, and ready.....always
Own opening, shift change, and closing execution at a high level - documented
Adjust staffing and positioning based on volume and flow tied to labor forecast modeling
Systems & Standards
Spot breakdowns in speed, communication, or quality early
Bring solutions that actually improve the operation
Stay locked into leadership communication - use the existing systems to communicate effectively with the leadership team !
Follow through is key!
Team Coverage
Work five shifts a week
Open, close, and lead from the front
WHO YOU ARE
A strong bartender who’s ready to own the bar, not just work it
A 360° operator—you see the bar, the floor, the guest, and the team
A teacher who actually gives a damn about developing people
Calm under pressure, fast in your decisions, and always present
Detail-focused to the point where average annoys you
Built for accountability, structure, and high standards
Hungry—like actually hungry!!!—to grow into something bigger
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Full-time hourly leadership role (40 hours/week)
Real seat at the leadership table

Life / AD&D
Long-Term Disability

Annual Education & R&D Budget
THE PATH FORWARD
Let’s be clear—this role is a launchpad.
This is how we build leaders.
You start by owning the bar. Then you expand.
There is a cross-training path into the Operations & Service Lead role—learning to run the floor, lead full service, and drive the entire guest experience.
Master both sides—bar and floor—and now you’re not just strong…you’re complete.
That’s when the real doors open:
AGM
GM
Executive leadership within BRF
People who win in this role don’t stay here long.
They move.
If you can run a bar, build a program, train a team, and lead with intensity—you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
This is not just a job......This is YOUR NEXT LEVEL !!!
