Are you a proactive problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and values collaboration? Carson is looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Credit Analyst II (Collections). In this role, you’ll be the bridge between our internal sales teams and external B2B & B2C customers helping to manage credit exposure, resolve payment issues, and lower DSO within assigned portfolio.
What You’ll Do
Build strong relationships with internal sales teams and external customers. Daily collections on assigned portfolio. Utilize ticketing system to review and release orders on credit holds within set timelines. Answer incoming department & direct line calls. Investigate and resolve payment disputes and monitor slowing trends. Assess credit exposure and recommend credit limit needs to Underwriting team for evaluation, and approval. Negotiate payment plans with delinquent accounts within policy guidelines. Meet monthly objectives across portfolio. Deliver exceptional customer service. Support team operations with administrative tasks and special projects as assigned. Quarterly on-call phone rotation
What You Bring
2+ years of experience in credit and collections. Solid understanding of credit principles and collection strategies. Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.). Strong communication skills—both written and verbal. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized. Team-oriented mindset with a focus on relationship-building. High school diploma or equivalent. NACM designation highly desired but not required. Ability to pass background checks, drug screen (including marijuana).
Work Style & Environment
Hybrid work model: remote flexibility + in-office collaboration. Comfortable with data entry and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs.). Training provided in-office to set you up for success.
