The Senior Accountant manages full-cycle accounting for utility-scale renewable energy projects, including month-end close and financial reporting. They are responsible for tracking project costs, maintaining fixed asset schedules, and ensuring GAAP compliance across multiple entities.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting and a CPA license with 3-6 years of progressive accounting experience. Preference is given to candidates with a public accounting background and experience in the renewable energy industry.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in supporting full-cycle accounting across Heelstone's development pipeline and operating portfolio of utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects. The role encompasses diverse accounting workstreams and requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant will interface with the Development, EPC, Asset Management, Operations, Offtake, Project Finance, Corporate Finance, and Legal teams
to support Company objectives and deliver accurate, timely financial information. This is a full-time position based in Durham, NC.
