The Driver Apprentice will train to safely operate commercial refuse and recycling vehicles while assisting with route duties and container loading. They are responsible for performing vehicle inspections, maintaining route efficiency, and ensuring customer locations are serviced and kept clean.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old, legally eligible to work in the U.S., and possess a Class C or D driver's license. Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English and successfully complete pre-employment drug screening and physical exams.

I. Job Summary
In tandem with a seasoned WM Driver and/or WM Driver Trainer, after receiving their Commercial Driving Permit, the Driver Apprentice will complete the required training to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle providing service to customers in their respective Line of Business (LOB). The Driver Apprentice will continue in this role until they complete all training requirements.
