What does the job consist?

• Application of Technical Knowledge
• Applying theory to practice: Technologists bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, ensuring that theoretical designs or concepts are turned into functional systems, processes, or products.
• Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
• Advanced troubleshooting: While technicians are often responsible for routine troubleshooting, technologists handle more complex or technical problems that require deeper understanding of systems and processes.
• Root cause analysis: Technologists often conduct detailed investigations into system or equipment failures, identifying the root cause and proposing solutions to prevent future issues.
• Diagnostic testing: Technologists design and implement diagnostic tests to check the performance of systems, machines, or products, and use these results to optimize performance or fix faults.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance
• Ensuring standards: Technologists play a key role in maintaining quality control within their field. They ensure that systems, products, or processes comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Continuous monitoring: They may monitor systems or processes over time, using their expertise to adjust or recalibrate as necessary to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.
