The Role
The successful candidate will be part of the Group Consolidation team and will play a key role in supporting the Group's month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial close and reporting processes. The role requires close collaboration with business units and overseas finance teams to ensure timely and accurate group reporting across a complex multinational organisation. The candidate will also support ongoing finance transformation initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Execute monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidation and financial reporting processes.
Review reporting submissions from local and overseas entities and perform consolidation adjustments, intercompany eliminations and reconciliations.
Perform variance analysis and resolve reporting issues with business units and overseas finance teams.
Coordinate month-end closing activities and ensure reporting deadlines are met.
Prepare management reporting schedules, consolidation analyses and supporting documentation.
Support statutory audits and year-end reporting requirements, including liaison with auditors.
Participate in system and process enhancement, UAT, process improvement and finance transformation initiatives, where applicable.
Support data analytics, automation and digitalisation initiatives within Group Finance.
Job Requirements
Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification.
4-6 years of relevant experience in group consolidation.
Strong understanding of IFRS/SFRS(I), group consolidation principles and end-to-end group consolidation process.
Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience managing complex group structures involving multiple entities, jurisdictions and currencies.
Hands-on experience with BPC or Tagetik systems is preferred.
Experience in a listed company, real estate group, fund management platform or large MNC environment will be advantageous.
