The apprentice is responsible for installing, terminating, testing, and labeling low voltage and fiber optic cabling. Duties include building out communication rooms, digging trenches for conduits, and ensuring all work complies with AHJ codes and industry standards.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, the ability to obtain a Florida State JLA badge, and the physical capability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders. Proficiency in reading blueprints and knowledge of OSHA safety practices are required.
MCS is hiring for a Electrical/Low Voltage Apprentice in Tyndall AFB, FL. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits.
The Electrical/Low Voltage Apprentice must demonstrate the ability to follow directions while being highly motivated. The Electrical/Low Voltage Apprentice will require good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting. It is important that candidates keep abreast of industry trends and developments, as well as applicable Government regulations.

Certification Requirements: Ability to obtain a Florida State JLA (Jessica Lunsford Act) Badge.
