Requires a minimum of 3 years of experience with medium voltage cable systems ranging from 5kV to 35kV. Candidates must be able to read electrical blueprints and perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions.
The Medium Voltage Splicer is responsible for the installation, splicing, termination, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of medium voltage underground and overhead electrical distribution systems. This position requires extensive knowledge of medium voltage cable systems, industry safety practices, electrical theory, and utility construction methods. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to work independently or as part of a construction team.
