The Lead AV Technician is responsible for installing, terminating, and testing low voltage cabling and media equipment such as projectors and cameras. They must read blueprints and coordinate the setup of AV tools and equipment racks across various project sites.
Candidates require a high school diploma and preferably 4 years of experience in low voltage or AV/VTC installation. CTS-I certification is highly desired, along with the ability to obtain a Florida State JLA badge and government facility access.
MCS is hiring for a LEAD Audio Visual Technician CTS-I, in Tampa, FL. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits.
The LEAD Audio Visual Technician CTS-I must demonstrate experience with A/V, Data, Voice, Networking, and Fiber cabling. The LEAD Audio Visual Technician CTS-I will require good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting. It is important that candidates keep abreast of industry trends and developments, as well as applicable Government regulations.
