Essential Responsibilities:
Provide technical support for production or aftermarket repair services, focusing on electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
Set up and operate test equipment to test complex equipment using established procedures, schematics, and relevant documentation, which may include vibration and thermal cycle testing.
Troubleshoot complex equipment by utilizing schematics and in-depth knowledge of the assigned technology, systems, and components.
Test, calibrate, adjust, and maintain measuring and indicating instruments to ensure they meet set standards.
Perform repair and overhaul services for assigned technology.
Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned, with the authority to execute all assigned tasks.
Qualifications / Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations and/or include working shifts beyond a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.
Possess a 2-year technical degree/certificate in a related discipline, equivalent military education/training, or at least 2 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 3 years of related job experience.
Prior experience using DMM (Digital Multimeter) and Oscilloscope
Proficient in reading and understanding technical information and instructions, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Capable of lifting/moving materials up to 35 pounds, working with hazardous materials, and working overtime as required
Desired Skills / Experience:
Proficient in using a personal computer to navigate online documents, drawings, and instructions.
At least 3 years of related job experience.
Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
