Job Overview

Mercier Consultancy Group is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused French Speaking Customer Service Agent to join a dynamic and fast-growing Customer Support Services team based on-site in Sofia, Bulgaria. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver professional, empathetic, and efficient customer support to French-speaking clients via phone, email, and live chat channels.
  • Handle inbound customer enquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide accurate information in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Accurately log all customer interactions, case details, and resolutions within the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams while ensuring customers are kept fully informed throughout the process.
  • Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the client's products, services, policies, and procedures to deliver best-in-class customer support.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the Customer Support Services environment.
  • Collaborate constructively with colleagues and team leaders to continuously improve service quality and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture within the Customer Support Services centre.
  • Native or fluent French language skills (spoken and written) are essential for this role.
  • A valid EU passport is mandatory for all applicants.
  • A good command of English for internal communication and training purposes.
  • Prior experience in a Customer Support Services, contact centre, or client-facing environment is advantageous but not strictly required — full training will be provided.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for helping customers and resolving issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to quickly adapt to new CRM and support tools used within the Customer Support Services industry.
