Job Overview
Mercier Consultancy Group is currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused French Speaking Customer Service Agent to join a dynamic and fast-growing Customer Support Services team based on-site in Sofia, Bulgaria. Key Responsibilities
Deliver professional, empathetic, and efficient customer support to French-speaking clients via phone, email, and live chat channels.
Handle inbound customer enquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide accurate information in a timely and courteous manner.
Accurately log all customer interactions, case details, and resolutions within the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams while ensuring customers are kept fully informed throughout the process.
Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the client's products, services, policies, and procedures to deliver best-in-class customer support.
Consistently meet or exceed individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within the Customer Support Services environment.
Collaborate constructively with colleagues and team leaders to continuously improve service quality and customer satisfaction scores.
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture within the Customer Support Services centre.
Native or fluent French language skills (spoken and written) are essential for this role.
A valid EU passport is mandatory for all applicants.
A good command of English for internal communication and training purposes.
Prior experience in a Customer Support Services, contact centre, or client-facing environment is advantageous but not strictly required — full training will be provided.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for helping customers and resolving issues effectively.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and the ability to quickly adapt to new CRM and support tools used within the Customer Support Services industry.
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
