The Medical Assistant supports clinical providers by escorting patients, recording vital signs, and assisting with diagnostic procedures and treatments. They are responsible for maintaining exam rooms, managing patient flow, and documenting services accurately within the electronic health record system.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program or have at least one year of relevant experience. A Washington State Medical Assistant certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.

Float Position: This role is based out of our Everett-Central Walk-In clinic and includes a $1.50/hour Float Differential in addition to the base hourly rate.
The Medical Assistant operates in a team with other clinical healthcare providers and support staff. The assistant escorts patients to the exam rooms and assists in determining medical problems. The MA assists medical providers with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments as directed; taking vital signs, maintaining records and recording test results.
All positions are assigned to a primary (home) work site. Employees designated as Float will be expected to regularly travel between multiple sites to support coverage for planned and unplanned staffing needs. Employees not designated as Float will primarily work at their assigned home site but may be temporarily reassigned to other sites based on operational requirements.
