The NSO Apprentice will train to represent veterans and their families in pursuing disability claims and other benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Responsibilities include reviewing medical and service records, preparing claim submissions, and advocating for claimants before hearing panels.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be a member in good standing of the DAV. Applicants must also be eligible for services through the VA’s Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment Service.

Job Summary: The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
