The NISC IV program at Leidos is looking for a Technical Writer/Editor to support multiple Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) programs. We are seeking a talented and energetic candidate to work with the best and brightest employees around the country in creating innovative all-encompassing solutions for our programs. You will work in a fast-paced and diverse environment, enjoy flexible work arrangements, and will have a management team that encourages your career development and growth. In this position, you’ll be responsible for writing, editing, proofreading and/or providing writing support on technical documents such as manuals, procedures and technical specifications for technical design teams, clients and/or end-users. Responsibilities may include designing and developing technical manuals, brochures, training materials, or other documentation for internal use, customer reference, or other purposes. This is a hybrid position, based out of the Washington DC area.
Primary Responsibilities.
In this role, the Technical Writer will be responsible for providing editing expertise to assist the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Trainings Needs Assessment Tool (TNAT) program in the publication of developed (and partially developed) policy and guidance documents. Specifically, the Editor/Writer will:
