The Opportunity

The Performance & Governance Group is looking for Advisors to join our Monitoring teams and Statutory Appointments team. This is an exciting opportunity for early-career professionals who are keen to develop their analytical, advisory and public sector capability while working alongside experienced practitioners.
Depending on the team you join, you will contribute to a range of monitoring, governance and advisory activities. This may include working with performance information and intelligence to identify trends, risks and opportunities across the health system, or supporting governance and appointment processes that inform Ministerial decision-making.
We recognise that great Advisors are developed through a combination of meaningful work, learning and support. New Advisors will receive structured onboarding, coaching and development opportunities designed to build confidence, capability and understanding of the health system and public sector environment.
You will
Support monitoring, governance and advisory activities across the health system.
Review and analyse information to identify key themes, risks and opportunities.
Contribute to briefings, correspondence, advice and other decision-support products.
Support issue analysis, stakeholder engagement and Ministerial servicing.
Work with colleagues across the Ministry, Crown entities and the wider health system.
