The Commercial Director provides commercial leadership, governance, and oversight for major EPC mining projects, ensuring contractual obligations and financial performance are met. They are responsible for managing subcontracts, change management, claims avoidance, and coordinating financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Candidates must possess significant management experience in commercial roles, specifically within fabrication, construction, EPC, and EPCM sectors. A university degree in a related field is required, along with proven experience managing mega projects with a total installed cost exceeding $1 billion AUD.

Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for a Commercial Director. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Oakville, Ontario.
As the Commercial Director at Worley, you play a vital role in providing governance, oversight, assurance and dispute/claims management for proposals and projects in Canada. The Commercial Director provides commercial leadership and subcontract management support to the Project Director, ensuring contractual obligations, financial performance, change management, claims avoidance, and subcontractor commitments are effectively managed throughout the project lifecycle. The primary focus will be for one of Worley's Major EPC mining Projects, which is one of the largest projects with the highest risk that Worley undertakes. Acting in accordance with the Commercial, Project Delivery responsibility and accountability framework, your role is instrumental in driving Worley's commitment to delivering a more sustainable world.

For applicants based in the province of Ontario, the salary range is $194,000 - $229,000 CAD.
