The Junior Accountant will prepare working papers and financial statements while gathering evidence for assurance and accounting engagements. They will also build positive client relationships and participate in business development initiatives.
Candidates must have completed an undergraduate degree or diploma along with the necessary CPA pre-requisites. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are required, along with a commitment to teamwork and client service.

Our Halifax office is looking for a Junior Accountants to join the Assurance team, starting in September 2027 and own the following responsibilities:
Efficiently utilize technical knowledge from courses to carry out work projects and assignments
Prepare and complete working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements per regulatory standards
Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements
Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to request and suggestions
Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients
Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.

You have completed your undergraduate degree or diploma and the necessary CPA pre-requisites
