Job Summary

The Vice President, Senior Client Advisor, Private Banking at UOB Hong Kong is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients. This role involves providing comprehensive financial solutions, building strong client relationships, and ensuring excellent service delivery in line with the bank's private banking strategy.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategies to acquire new HNW and UHNW clients and expand existing relationships.
Conduct in-depth financial needs analysis for clients, identifying their investment objectives, risk tolerance, and liquidity requirements.
Propose and deliver tailored financial solutions, including investment products (e.g., equities, fixed income, structured products, alternative investments), wealth planning, trust services, and lending solutions.
Monitor client portfolios regularly, review performance against objectives, and recommend necessary adjustments to align with market conditions and client needs.
Maintain a deep understanding of global financial markets, economic trends, and regulatory changes to provide informed advice to clients.
Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements in Hong Kong and other applicable jurisdictions.
Collaborate effectively with product specialists, investment advisors, legal, and compliance teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
Actively participate in client events, seminars, and networking activities to represent UOB Hong Kong and generate new business opportunities.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to a positive and high-performing team environment.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) is highly preferred.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in private banking or wealth management, with a proven track record of managing and growing HNW/UHNW client portfolios.
Extensive knowledge of a wide range of investment products, financial markets, and wealth planning strategies.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the Hong Kong banking sector.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with sophisticated clients.
Demonstrated ability to acquire new clients and generate revenue.
Highly self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (both spoken and written) is essential to effectively serve a diverse client base.
Possession of relevant licenses and registrations (e.g., SFC Type 1, 4, 9) as required for regulated activities in Hong Kong.

HKMA Type 1 and 4 licensed.
