The Group Finance Director will own the financial strategy, planning, and statutory compliance across international entities while acting as a strategic partner to the founders. They will lead a lean finance team and oversee complex commercial negotiations, M&A activities, and financial systems development.
Candidates must have extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles with a strong command of multi-entity consolidation and Hong Kong statutory requirements. A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA is preferred, along with a proven track record in high-value negotiations and commercial deal structuring.

This is not a conventional Financial Controller role. We are looking for a highly commercial, hands-on finance leader who can take full ownership of the group finance function, become a trusted right-hand partner to the founders and grow into the Group CFO mandate as the business scales.
TOKEN2049 and SuperAI operate leading global events and platforms across crypto and artificial intelligence. The group has events and operations spanning Hong Kong, Singapore, Europe, the UAE and the United States, with continued international expansion ahead.
The group’s principal entities are based in Hong Kong, with events and operations across multiple currencies and jurisdictions. The Group Finance Director will combine rigorous Hong Kong financial and statutory oversight with commercial judgment, negotiation and international execution.
The Group Finance Director will own the financial function across TOKEN2049 and SuperAI while acting as a close strategic and commercial partner to the founders. The role requires someone who can move comfortably between detailed financial work, major business decisions and complex external negotiations. For the right person, the role is designed to develop into Group CFO as both the individual and the business grow.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a genuinely broad finance leadership mandate within two category-leading, internationally expanding businesses at the intersection of crypto, AI and global technology. The successful candidate will work directly with the founders, shape major strategic and commercial decisions, and have a clear opportunity to grow into Group CFO as the group enters its next phase of growth. The scope will expand with capability and results, rather than being constrained by a conventional finance job description.
