Currently, we are seeking Legal Consultant with Technology law & Data project experience to provide support to our global clients in commerce & industries:

Responsibilities:

• Advise on IT/digital and data projects, including IT system/software acquisitions, implementation, cybersecurity and data compliance, and negotiate related technology contracts.
• Handle data privacy matters under Hong Kong and Mainland China laws  
• Assist with commercial and IP work when necessary, including general commercial contracts, working closely with senior business stakeholders
• Potentially support on HR / employment related matters when necessary 

Key Requirements

• At least 7 years’ PQE, with solid experience in IT / technology law, data work  
• Comfortable dealing directly with senior management, working autonomously and provide guidance to team members at times
• Strong fluency in English, Chinese language skills is a bonus
• HK & PRC employment law-related experience is a bonus, but not essential
