Who are you?
You are a Senior Contracts Administrator with at least 7+ years post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.
Job Description
Administer and manage construction contracts in accordance with project requirements, contractual obligations, and governance frameworks.
Lead contract administration activities, including change orders, contract amendments, variations, claims management, and dispute resolution.
Provide expert guidance to project teams on contractual rights, obligations, entitlements, and commercial risk mitigation strategies.
Review, draft, negotiate, and manage contract correspondence, notices, amendments, and commercial documentation.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure compliance with contractual, commercial, technical, and regulatory requirements.
Evaluate contractor claims and change requests, conduct entitlement assessments, and provide recommendations for resolution.
Partner closely with project management, procurement, legal, engineering, and commercial teams to support project delivery objectives.
Maintain accurate contract records, documentation, and audit trails in accordance with project controls and governance requirements.
Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout all project phases.
Support procurement processes, including tender reviews, bid evaluations, contract award recommendations, and post-award administration.
Participate in contract negotiations and facilitate the resolution of contractual and commercial issues.
Prepare contract status reports, commercial analyses, and recommendations for project leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must have a business-related Degree or equivalent (relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered)
7+ years of contract administration experience supporting large-scale infrastructure, transportation, civil, or construction projects.
Strong knowledge of contract delivery models, including Design-Build, Construction Management, EPC, and Lump Sum contracts.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiating, project management, planning and organizational skills
Proven abilities (as they relate to contract management) in influencing internal and external parties, managing risk, and optimizing costs through innovation
Proficiency with MS Office including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
