The Gel Coat Technician is responsible for preparing fiberglass molds and applying gel coat using spray equipment to meet quality and production standards. They must also maintain equipment, monitor material levels, and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
Candidates should have previous experience in gel coat, fiberglass, or composite manufacturing, along with the ability to operate spray equipment. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment are essential.
Marine Concepts/Design Concepts are the Fiberglass Mold Experts in a high quality production environment with specific quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Gel Coat Technician to join our production team. The Gel Coat Technician is responsible for preparing molds and applying gel coat to fiberglass molds according to established specifications, production schedules, and quality standards.
The successful candidate will take pride in producing a consistent, high-quality finish while working safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Shift is Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6:30am. (hours may vary due to production volume).
1–2 years of experience in gel coat application, fiberglass manufacturing, composite manufacturing, automotive painting/bodywork, or a related field is preferred. Marine manufacturing experience is a plus.
