The Service Technician is responsible for cleaning, stocking, and maintaining portable sanitation units and trailers at customer sites. They must also manage daily service routes, perform basic truck maintenance, and maintain professional communication with dispatchers.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. The role requires physical fitness to perform manual labor and the ability to pass a background check and physical exam.

AMERI-CANS is looking to hire a full-time Service Technician/Assistant Driver(s) at our location in Richmond VA. This is a key role leading the day-to-day execution of a rapidly growing portable sanitation company that takes pride in doing things the right way and executing the impossible. Owned by Marine Corps veterans, we have a dynamic team of technicians, operations and maintenance staff that hold the highest standard of performance, integrity, and customer service, without compare. This position consists of servicing, cleaning and stocking portable toilets, holding tanks, freshwater systems, hand-wash stations and restroom-shower trailers as needed. You are responsible for completing daily routes, while maintaining professional customer contact and open lines of communication with the dispatcher. We are driven by purpose, with a vision to grow in a meaningful way that allows us to continue to impact on our community of veterans and their families. We work for that vision every day and we are looking to add this critical role to the team with someone who is ready to perform at a high level on day one.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are the representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Position requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time; move fingers and hands, ability to stoop, crawl, bend, twist, reach, and crouch. Perform the essential duties with minimal or no supervision. Lift and carry up to 50lbs and drag 185lbs.
