Join a Builder Where Relationships Matter
For more than 25 years, StyleCraft Homes has been building more than houses-we've been building relationships, communities, and a company our people are proud to be part of.
StyleCraft Homes is a privately owned homebuilder headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, with a strong reputation for craftsmanship, innovation, customer relationships, and community involvement. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Sales Manager to lead and develop our field sales team and help drive the next chapter of StyleCraft's success.
This is an opportunity for a proven sales leader who enjoys leading people, developing talent, driving accountability, and winning as a team.
The Opportunity
The Sales Manager will report directly to the General Manager and provide direct leadership to StyleCraft's New Home Sales Consultants in the field. This person will oversee the day-to-day execution of our new home sales process, coach and develop our sales team, monitor performance, and ensure we consistently deliver an exceptional customer experience.
The ideal candidate is a leader and coach first-someone who can build trust with a sales team while establishing clear expectations and holding people accountable for results.
Key Responsibilities
Lead & Develop the Sales Team
Directly manage, coach, and develop StyleCraft's New Home Sales Consultants.
Establish clear expectations for sales performance, activity, follow-up, and customer experience.
Conduct regular one-on-ones, field coaching, and performance reviews.
Recruit and help develop high-performing sales talent.
Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, urgency, and continuous improvement.
Drive Sales Performance
Lead the day-to-day execution of StyleCraft's sales plan.
Monitor sales pace, traffic, leads, appointments, contracts, cancellations, and closings.
Identify opportunities to improve conversion and sales performance.
Hold Sales Professionals accountable for achieving established goals.
Provide sales forecasts, performance updates, and recommendations to the General Manager.
Oversee the New Home Sales Process
Ensure consistent execution of StyleCraft's sales process from initial lead through contract and closing.
Coach Sales Professionals on presentations, follow-up, negotiation, objection handling, and closing.
Ensure accurate and consistent use of CRM and sales systems.
Help ensure pricing, incentives, inventory, and product information are properly communicated and executed.
Lead From the Field
Maintain a strong presence in StyleCraft's communities and sales centers.
Evaluate the customer experience and ensure our communities and model homes are professionally presented.
Understand competitive activity, pricing, incentives, inventory, and market conditions.
Ensure Sales Professionals are equipped to effectively sell each community and product.
Collaborate Across the Company
Partner closely with Construction, Marketing, Purchasing, Design, Finance, Operations, and Customer Care.
Help ensure a seamless transition from sales through construction and closing.
Communicate market trends, customer feedback, and sales opportunities to company leadership.
Participate in sales strategy, forecasting, and business planning.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of progressive sales experience, preferably in residential homebuilding or a related industry.
Previous experience managing, coaching, or leading a sales team.
Demonstrated success achieving sales goals and improving team performance.
Strong understanding of the new home sales process.
Excellent communication, coaching, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong business acumen and ability to understand and use sales data to drive decisions.
Highly organized with strong follow-through and accountability.
Comfortable working in the field and managing multiple communities and priorities.
Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.

StyleCraft is a local, family-owned business that began as a homebuilder and grew to do so much more. Today we create communities that inspire people to Live Up throughout the Greater Richmond area. This includes building homes (StyleCraft Homes), developing property (Riverdale Properties), and managing HOA’s (StyleCraft Communities).
Because we’re locally focused and family owned, we see and treat the homes, communities, and land we work on each day as if they’re our own. This brings an extra measure of passion and accountability to all that we do, creating an unparalleled experience for all customers. It’s this dynamic that defines our Live Up philosophy — a high standard that applies to the homes and communities we build and maintain beyond expectations, as well as land development that elevates the surrounding community.
