WHO ARE WE? Insomniac produces some of the most innovative, immersive music festivals and events in the world. Insomniac produces 10,000 concerts, club nights and festivals for seven million attendees annually across the globe. Since its inception, Insomniac’s events have taken place in 13 countries across five continents. The company’s premiere annual event, Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, is the world’s largest dance music festival and attracts more than 525,000 fans over three days. The company was founded by Pasquale Rotella and has been based in Los Angeles since it was formed in 1993.
THE ROLE
Insomniac is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Installer to support the responsibilities of Insomniac’s Visual Communications team. This position reports to the Project Manager. This is not a remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for frame construction, signage installation, temporary power and lighting setup, and fence scrim installation at festival sites.
Reports to Team Lead
Works with urgency and precision
QUALIFICATIONS
OSHA 10 is required
Comfortability with power tools and working with 8 foot ladders
Being a team player, possess a positive attitude, able to learn quickly and take direction
Heavy machinery certification is a plus but not required. Staff must have a copy of their card (digital or physical) when operating.
Must be able to lift up to 50lb
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments
Must be open to work in extreme weather conditions and willing to work long hours on your feet
Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
