The Tower Technician assists the Crew Leader in building telecommunications towers according to construction drawings and project specifications. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, ensuring site safety, and completing turnover documentation for project managers.
Candidates must be able to climb 300-foot towers and work in extreme weather conditions while traveling extensively. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with strong organizational skills and a commitment to safety protocols.

We are seeking an experienced Tower Technician to join a travel tiger team
Our shop is located in Iowa, but out of state travel is required and the position will operate on a rotation schedule.
Pay for this position will depend on experience level.
Business Unit: New Construction
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 am, end time varies based on job schedule
Travel: Required 75-100%
Position Type: Full-Time
A TTT assists in building each tower job as defined by the client’s scope of work and construction drawings under the direction of the Tower Crew Leader. This encompasses, but is not limited to, loading, and unloading all job materials, maintaining all tools, trucks and equipment used by the tower crew, understanding the scope of work, working at heights, and constructing the project per specifications in a timely manner.
