The electrician will install, troubleshoot, and repair facility electrical distribution and lighting systems while performing preventative maintenance on all electrical utilities. They are also responsible for coordinating on-site construction projects and maintaining accurate inventory of spare parts and tools.
Candidates must have completed an apprenticeship program and possess at least ten years of related experience with journeyman status. Proficiency in interpreting technical data, using electrical testing instruments, and adhering to safety codes is required.

We provide comprehensive facility services ranging from mechanical maintenance and self-performed, site-based operations to energy-efficiency upgrades and supplier-managed interior/exterior maintenance.
Installs, trouble shoots, and repairs facility electrical distribution systems, lighting systems, apparatus, and devices. Basic skills and knowledge of motor controls, and logic control systems. Should be familiar with low voltage systems, fire systems, and voice and data systems. Also estimates, coordinates, and schedules on site construction or maintenance projects. Quality control using guidelines from the National Electrical Code, local codes, safety regulations, and EMCOR standard practices.
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, Ohms Law, and geometry
Training and certified to operate a fork truck and aerial lift preferred
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Ability to interpret common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
