The Solar Service Technician will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential solar PV systems, including inverters and electrical components. They are responsible for ensuring all work meets NEC and local code standards while providing professional service to homeowners.
Candidates must have residential solar service experience and strong electrical troubleshooting skills, with an active electrical license preferred. The role requires the ability to work outdoors, climb ladders, and interpret complex electrical schematics.

SpartanX is seeking an experienced Solar Service Technician to support residential solar service operations across our active markets.
This is a hands-on field position focused on troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, commissioning, and post-installation service. We're looking for an electrician with residential solar experience who can independently diagnose problems, determine the appropriate solution, and complete high-quality repairs while providing a professional homeowner experience.
Primarily Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturday availability required.
When a solar system isn't performing correctly, our Service Technicians are the people responsible for figuring out why and getting it fixed.
If you're a licensed electrician with residential solar experience who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems, and taking ownership of your work in the field, we want to hear from you.
